Purpose:

The organized unit of UMW is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Orchard Circle is a group of women who support missions both locally and nationally.  As members we strive to grow spiritually through Mission Studies supported by our District UMW and by offering supportive fellowship for all women. Sponsoring various day trips offers time with other women to build new relationships with focus on Christian principles.  The Orchard hosts various fund raisers each year in order to support other church and local missions.

In February, the Orchard sponsored a trip to the United Methodist Children's home in Decatur. The trip was educational, heart-warming, and very eye-opening as to the indispensable contribution the Home plays in the roles of our children and families in crisis.
